Hi, I'm Mercedes, founder of Transforming Touch Organizing.

Growing up, my mother often reminded me, "A messy room is a messy mind." It was a simple saying, but over the years I've come to understand how true it is. When our homes feel cluttered and overwhelming, it's often harder to feel calm, focused, and at peace.

For more than two decades, I've had the privilege of caring for my father and mother-in-law.  Through that experience, I've seen firsthand the physical and emotional challenges that come with aging, life transitions, and managing a home.  It taught me that organization isn't just about creating neat spaces, its about making everyday life safer, easier, and less stressful.

As a mother and a teacher for more than 30 years, I've learned that every family has unique routines, challenges, and priorities, those experiences taught me how to create practical, organized systems that are easy to maintain and designed to fit the way people truly live.  Whether I'm helping a busy family, an individual, or a senior navigating a life transition, my goal is always the same, to create spaces that reduce stress and bring greater peace of mind.
